Facilities at The Riverside Centre

The Riverside Centre is the perfect venue for your event. Whether your conference/event is for 8 people or 800 people, we have just the room for you. We have one small meeting room, 4 board rooms, 2 one-to-one interview rooms, a larger conference room and the main auditorium. 

The Main Hall - The largest clearspan space in Derby

At 800 metres square our main auditorium can seat up to 650 people theatre style, or up to 300 cabaret style if required. The space is very flexible lending itself to everything from traditional conferences to exhibitions or a combination of partitioned breakout areas and display space. The Carsington Suite - Our most popular conference room

Situated on the ground floor adjacent to the main hall, seats up to 120 people theatre style or 80 cabaret style. This room is air-conditionined and equipped with a screen.

Board Rooms - great for smaller meetings and training events too!

There are three board rooms on the first floor (accessible by stairs and stair-lift) which all accommodate 35 people in theatre style, 24 in boardroom and 35 in cabaret/classroom style layouts. These rooms are fully air-conditioned and are equipped with a screen.

The Kedleston Room - Great for groups of up to 15

This is our smallest meeting room which accommodates 15 people theatre style, 10 boardroom and 10 cabaret/classroom style layouts. This room is air-conditioned and equipped with a screen.

Interview Rooms - Available for breakouts or bookable by the hour

We have 2 small interview rooms available which can be used for one-to-one meetings, interviews or phone conferences. Also available to book by the hour for one off meetings away from the office.
